HIFU
HIFU
HIFU (High Intensity Focused Ultrasound) is a technology that uses high-frequency sound waves to improve skin structure and reduce the appearance of wrinkles and fine lines. It is commonly referred to as a "non-invasive facelift" as it achieves similar results as surgical procedures, but without the use of a scalpel or needles.
During a HIFU treatment, a device with a flat ultrasound head is moved across the skin, stimulating the deeper layers of the skin to produce collagen and elastin. This leads to a tightening and rejuvenation of the skin.
The treatment can be performed on the face, neck, and other areas of the body and typically takes 30-60 minutes. Some patients may report a slight tingling or warm sensation during the treatment, but it is generally painless. Results can be seen in the weeks and months following the treatment and can last up to a year.
