WRINKLE TREATMENT WITH BOTULINUM
Botulinum has proven itself for the treatment of wrinkles caused by our facial expressions (mimic wrinkles). These include frown lines, forehead wrinkles and laugh lines or "crow's feet" around the eyes. During treatment, the medication is injected with a very fine needle specifically into the muscles to be treated. This relaxes the corresponding muscle and mimic wrinkles are alleviated and the skin is smoothed.
In the right dose, the treatment leads to a relaxed and fresh facial expression with a significant reduction in wrinkles without appearing unnatural or mask-like. The effect sets in slowly after approx. 4 days, is fully developed after approx. 10-14 days and then lasts for 3-4 months.

TREATMENT OF EXCESSIVE SWEATING (HYPERHIDROSIS)
Botulinum injections are a treatment option for excessive sweating (hyperhidrosis) and are offered by Dr. Simona Lüdi at Beautylounge . The medication is injected into the relevant area of skin using very fine needles.
Botulinum reduces the release of sweat by acting directly on the sweat glands and specifically blocking the nerve impulses for sweat secretion. The effect sets in after approx. 4 days and is fully developed after 10-14 days at the latest.
The duration of the effect varies from person to person, but generally lasts 4-6 months. After that, the original perspiration returns.

TREATMENT OF TEETH GRINDING (BRUXISM)
Do you suffer from teeth grinding and are looking for a suitable treatment option? Teeth grinding, also known by the technical term "bruxism", mainly occurs during sleep and causes the upper and lower jaws to grind against each other. If left untreated, bruxism can have serious long-term consequences for the teeth and jaw.

In the treatment of teeth grinding, botulinum is injected into the chewing muscle at certain points on each side of the cheek so that it relaxes. The muscle does not relax completely, but is only relaxed.
