Terms and conditions

§ 1 Scope of application

Our services, gift vouchers and offers are provided on the basis of these General Terms and Conditions. They are deemed accepted for the duration of the entire relationship between Beautylounge AG and the client, even if they are not expressly agreed again. Conditions of any other kind are not accepted by Beautylounge AG.

§ 2 Own risk in the purchase decision

The customer has no entitlement to a refund of costs in the event of a complaint about a company gift voucher or a service. It is therefore the buyer's or customer's own responsibility to make sure, before purchasing, that they are satisfied with the choice of product and service before placing an order or making a purchase.

§ 3 At own risk

The customer is aware of the risks of the services offered; they have informed themselves and received sufficient advice. They purchase a voucher or use the service at their own responsibility and have no right to a refund of treatment costs, compensation or damages for pain and suffering if complications arise during or after the service. A service may only be used on one's own responsibility from the age of 18. If minors wish to book a service, the written consent of a parent or legal guardian must be presented.

§ 4 Complaints

Complaints about a service must be submitted in writing within 7 days of the treatment to info@beautylounge.ch and documented with photos. Complaints submitted on time will be reviewed by Beautylounge and handled in accordance with our quality standards.

To correct any imperfections, a personal appointment at Beautylounge within 14 days of the original treatment date is mandatory. After this period, a professional assessment or correction is no longer possible. There is no entitlement to a refund. Goodwill gestures are voluntary and apply exclusively within the time limits above.

§ 5 Appointments and cancellations

Booked appointments are binding and must be kept on time. Appointment cancellations made later than 24 hours before the appointment will be charged at 100% of the treatment price.

§ 6 Follow-up appointments and goodwill arrangements

Certain treatments require a follow-up appointment within a defined period to ensure a professional and best possible result. This appointment is arranged immediately after the first treatment by our team, in agreement with the client.

If an agreed follow-up appointment is cancelled or missed by the client and the newly agreed appointment falls outside the intended treatment interval plus a goodwill period of 10%, the entitlement to the included or discounted follow-up service lapses. Beautylounge AG accepts no liability for the cosmetic result in such cases. A new treatment appointment will be charged as a separate service.

§ 7 Confidentiality and data protection

Beautylounge AG is obliged to keep all information discussed during the service secret and confidential. Information is classed as confidential if the client expresses this or if it can be inferred from the content of the information. Confidentiality is set aside if this is ordered by law and Beautylounge AG is released from the confidentiality clause.

§ 8 Allergies and illnesses

You must inform us immediately of any medication you take, allergies, diabetes, thyroid disease, hormonal disorders, bleeding disorders or similar, and of any serious contagious diseases or infections, as soon as you become aware of them, or answer truthfully when asked. Beautylounge AG, for its part, undertakes to keep confidential any illnesses or infections that become known to it.

A service will be declined if carrying it out is expected to pose a risk (infection) or similar. If you are contagious, unfortunately we cannot treat you. If you nevertheless arrive unwell for an agreed appointment, Beautylounge AG reserves the right to cancel the appointment and charge a cancellation fee (100%) for the resulting loss of earnings. In this case the following ALWAYS applies: please cancel, even at short notice, to avoid infecting your practitioner! The fee does not apply in the case of an illness-related cancellation.

Beautylounge AG confirms that all products used, as well as aftercare products, comply with the Swiss Cosmetics Ordinance. However, as these are chemicals, an allergic reaction can never be ruled out. Claims for damages arising from allergic or other reactions are therefore excluded.

§ 9 Place of jurisdiction

For the legal resolution of any disputes, the place of jurisdiction is Basel-Stadt. Applicable law is Swiss law.
