BROWLIFTING
This new method of brow styling gives your brows an extra boost. In a brow lift, the brows are fixed in the desired shape. To do this, the brow hairs are first combed into shape - in most cases upwards to create more fullness for the brows and thus visually thicken them. The eyebrow hairs are then fixed in this position. In the next step, brow lamination, special liquids are applied to the eyebrows and left to work for around ten minutes. Naturally, the brows are then tinted and, if necessary, individual unwanted hairs are removed.
How long does the browlift last and how much does the treatment cost?
After the treatment, the result lasts for five to six weeks and can withstand sleeping, showering and sporting activities without any problems. After a certain period of time, we recommend repeating the treatment. Please note: Various manufacturers advertise brow lifting for home use, but it is advisable to have the brow lift carried out by experts you trust. The entire treatment costs CHF 89 and is therefore a cost-effective alternative to the popular microblading. The treatment can also be booked in combination with a lash lift. This gives you a perfectly defined eye area in just one treatment.
What do I have to consider after the treatment?
As a rule, the eyebrows are briefly combed into shape in the morning, optionally given a little shine with a gel and that's it. However, it is important that the brows receive a little care from time to time, as the treatment breaks up the natural cuticle layer of the brow hairs somewhat and the hairs are nourished by a brow treatment.
WOWBROWS
Defined eyebrows are a big trend and rightly so! Eyebrows give the face contour and expression - even more so when they are perfectly shaped. Thinly plucked brows are a thing of the past. Today's woman wants full brows that are still contoured to the point. Something that is often difficult to achieve in front of the mirror at home with tweezers.
Our "WowBrows" treatment uses a variety of techniques, including rose wax and perfect tinting, to conjure up perfect brows that are individually tailored to your face. Our beauty stylists in Basel, Pratteln, Reinach and Oberwil will be happy to help you. You can find our prices here!
WHAT IS MICROBLADING?
The word "micro" for "very fine" and "blade" stands for a pigmentation technique similar to permanent make-up, which was specially developed for deceptively realistic 3D hair drawing on the eyebrows. This method offers a particularly good solution for people who are dissatisfied with the shape and density of their eyebrows. As with other eyebrow pigmentation procedures, the natural eyebrows are not completely replaced, but filled in by drawing hairs and correcting their shape and density.
The difference to permanent make-up:
In contrast to the permanent make-up technique, microblading does not use a pigmentation device and the color is not applied as deeply into the skin. With microblading, the pigments are only worked into the epidermis, whereas permanent make-up also reaches deeper layers of the dermis. Although very fine lines can be drawn with microblading, it is less durable than permanent make-up. It is generally reworked after approx. 4 weeks and needs to be intensified every 1-2 years. How long the results of microblading last also depends on factors such as age, skin condition and immune system.
How does the treatment work?
The actual treatment is preceded by a detailed consultation where the exact procedure is discussed and the color and shape of the brows are measured and discussed. The treatment begins with a precise preliminary drawing of the brow shape. This is followed by the actual blading. The initial treatment usually takes between one and a half and two hours. After around four weeks, a touch-up is usually required to intensify and refresh the color.
What do I have to consider after the treatment?
On the first day after the treatment, the eyebrows should be cleaned lightly with water or a mild cleanser every 1-2 hours if possible and creamed with a wound healing cream to prevent crust formation. It is then sufficient to use the cream two to three times a day until the eyebrow is completely healed.
