IPL
Pigment spots and small red veins (also known as cuperosis) are annoying and prevent an even complexion. They can be removed frequently and permanently using xenon light (also known as IPL - Intense Pulsed Light). Visible blood vessels close to the surface are treated by absorbing light from haemoglobin.
Controlled pulses of light are applied to the affected areas of skin and at a temperature of 60-65°C, blood coagulation is induced in the vessels. The dead vessels are then gradually eliminated via the body's own lymphatic system.
Please note that when the flash penetrates the skin, it feels like small "pricks" and there may be a slight feeling of warmth on the skin.
Some people react more sensitively than others, and there may also be slight reddening of the skin during treatment.
However, the redness disappears after a few hours. As a rule, 4 to 5 treatments at intervals of around 4 weeks are necessary for successful therapy. You can find our prices here!
