What is MAXERUM?
MAXERUM is a serum for lashes and brows from the Belgian brand Maxelle Beauty. It is made by Esthetic Concept in Schoten near Antwerp, Made in Belgium.
According to the manufacturer, the formula relies on vitamin C, vitamin E, biotin and niacin, the amino acids arginine, glutamine and methionine as well as hyaluronic acid and urea. According to the manufacturer, MAXERUM contains no prostaglandins and is dermatologically tested.
This matters because many lash serums rely on prostaglandin analogues. These active ingredients come from ophthalmology and, according to independent tests, can cause side effects such as redness, itching or darker circles under the eyes.
