Are you full of enthusiasm for the profession of beautician? Then you've come to the right place! Every summer at Beautylounge we offer internships followed by apprenticeships as a beautician EFZ. Applications are open exclusively to pupils in the 3rd year of secondary school.
The EFZ apprenticeship at Beautylounge includes a one-year internship, completed with us before the apprenticeship begins. It is a fixed part of the training and serves as ideal preparation for the profession. With the internship place, the subsequent EFZ apprenticeship at Beautylounge is guaranteed. An internship without the apprenticeship is not possible. Likewise, the apprenticeship can only be started after a previous internship. By starting the internship, you commit to completing it in full, through to the end.
Your internship with us
As an intern you work a 100 % workload of 43 hours per week and are entitled to four weeks of paid holiday per year (under 20: five weeks).
Your internship combines practice treatments with active involvement in everyday salon life, from client reception and team assistance through to treatments. The internship starts in August 2027 and always lasts one year (12 months). During the first three months, the following four topics are covered in seminars:
1.) Hygiene, occupational safety & environment
2.) Systems, phone, appointments & customer care
3.) Manicure with massage & regular polish / Shellac
4.) Pedicure with massage & polish / Shellac
Training sessions take place over the following four months. After that, you can also serve regular clients. Particularly fast interns can additionally learn services in lashes and brows during this time.
You work five days a week, including Saturday, and always have Sundays off plus one other day. A holiday block applies in the summer months, and no holiday can be taken in December.
What you should bring
School-leaving certificate at performance level E or P
For a school-leaving certificate at performance level A: an average grade of at least 4.6 in the main subjects
Extracurricular skills: maximum score for independence, diligence, manners and reliability
Passion for the profession and enjoyment of cosmetics and beauty
An affinity for precise detail work
Well-groomed appearance
Polite and service-minded personality
Very good German (English and French an advantage)

Please note: the apprenticeships for 2027 have already been filled by our current interns, who start their training in the same year. But don't worry, you can now apply for the 2027 internship, which will optimally prepare you for your EFZ apprenticeship 2028.
